Date Posted：06/18/2019 5:17 PMCopy HTML With all the fighting between the gods and demons, it left the humans in a bad state. Most were panicked and some had started fighting, feeling they needed land. Kind Henry had been able to get his daughters and himself to safety in one of his castles. He had his knights and staff with him, but he had lost Edward on the way. He had sent his Knights out to find the boy, hoping it wouldn't take long. Edward had been wandering through the woods, not knowing where he was going. It was Ashlynn who found him. She had ran from her village, after her home and the entire village had been burnt to the ground. She heard demons running through the woods, then saw the boy. She wasn't sure if it was a trap, but couldn't leave him. She ran up to him. ||Ashlynn||- We must get away from here. She said as gentle as she was, knowing he was scared. She picked him up though as she ran off with him. Looking for a safe place to hide. After awhile she found a cave as she went into with him. Setting him down as she looked him over, making sure he wasn't hurt. She then smiled at him, handing him some food she had managed to carry with her. ||Ashlynn||- I'm Ashlynn. She said as she looked at him. {Edward}- I am Prince Edward. He said with a smile as she looked surprised to hear he was a Prince...As he explained how he got seperated and how he missed his father. ||Ashlynn||- I'll help you get back to him. She promised as they rested for a bit, with her awake keeping an eye on things. when it was safe again she walked with him as they were heading towards the castle. They made it pretty close before The Knights found them, thinking she had kidnapped the boy, they charged at her, knocking her out, and taking Edward. He was returned to his father, and Ashlynn was tossed in the dungeon. It was hours later before she woke up, holding her head a bit as she groaned, trying to collect herself a bit.  |

She said answering his question as she still was bowing when the guard brought in some water for her. Helping her drink it.

They helped her out , and up the stairs as they were talking to her, but she was still pretty weak and out of it. It wasn't until she heard Edward as he came running to her, and hugged her leg that she kind of snapped out of her haze a bit as she brought her hands down to give him a hug in return.

It was not allowed for a person to touch a member of the royal family without permission. He was not going to deny this action between the woman and his son though. He could see that the woman was important to the child.

He took her hand and was pulling her along as Henry had his hand on her back so she would follow seeing how nervous she looked.

He kept her hidden from the world. Always afraid she would ...well end up here. Worried he would lose her. Now she had lost him. She heard what he said as she was thinking about it.

She said as she had no intention of upsetting anyone.

She said as he started to leave, but Edward came in once more giving her a hug, as she looked at Henry first as he nodded. Ashlynn smiled as she hugged him back. Henry then helped him out of the room, leaving Ashlynn alone with the ladies as they looked very happy to see her there as they fussed over her, cleaning her, dressing her. By the time she was done, she looked and felt like a princess...
Ashlynn: Oh my...
She said as she looked at herself in the mirror surprised with her looks as she the ladies thought she was very pretty.

He looked at the man who came in to announce that the cooks were ready and the people were waiting in the great room.
He smiled at Charles.
"Join us at the head table tonight. You may sit beside Edward."
He walked out of the room with Charles and headed for the room where he had left the woman.
"I should probably learn her name during dinner."

Henry looked at her surprised but very pleased seeing how beautiful she looked all cleaned up. He held his hand out to her as she took it following him out.
Ashlynn: Thank you.
She said to the ladies who had helped her. They looked surprised that they were thanked, but smiled at her.
Lady: You are very welcome, Miss. Ashlynn.
The older round lady said with a happy smile. She then followed the king out as they went walking down the hall to dine. She was still a bit scared taking everything in.

He looked around the crowded room and smiled. He was pleased that so many had come to enjoy the meal and the company.
He led Ashlynn to the chair beside his.

Henry smiled at her though and told her to have a seat as he did. She sat down next to him, as he explained things as meals came out. It had been a nice meal as she was still pretty over whelmed, but was taking it all pretty good as she did make it through dinner.

She said honestly as it had been a very bad day.
Ashlynn: They killed father, and destroyed the entire house and farm.
She answered when he questioned her more, seeing that she was alone now. From what Charles had informed him, she had been the only one to survive or not be kidnapped from the village. She was all that was left from that area.

Henry: I did hear you are amazing with horses, and my horses are very important and are in need of hand to handle them and train them.
She smiled when he said that, as she was very comfortable in the stables and knew horses very well. She also was happy it meant she would get to see Edward more. She bowed as she looked at him.
Ashlynn: Thank you, my lord.
She said grateful to him. Charles saw how Henry was looking at the girl and knew there was more to her staying then the reasons he had spoken, which made Charles smile as he held his wife’s hand as he was thinking about it.

After a bit Charles led her down to the stables so she could see what she would be working with. She was very excited as it didn’t take her long to get into it.
After a couple weeks, even Charles had to admit she was far better with the horses than he was. She broke the wild ones so easily, looked like she had to put in almost no effort. Edward was there every day with Ashlynn, which surprised a lot of servants but Henry allowed it, seeing that the boy would become distraught with out being with her.
Which worked out well as Edward learned a lot about the horses and even was feeling good about riding, as Ashlynn even spent time with Mary and Elisabeth training them, as they were loving the time with her as well.

Mary: Everyone in the castle seems to enjoy her as well.
She said noticed she has even helped the staff with cooking and chores if they were down someone or someone was ill. She was very kind and sweet.

He said as he was very sure , and very use to getting what he wants as he slipped a ring on her finger as she was still amazed all this was happening. She looked up at him when he pulled her close as he leaned down giving her a soft kiss.

He thought about the unfair life his son already had experienced and was glad that things would now be better for him.

She said as Henry looked so happy she was pleased. He then after a moment took her hand, as he left with her, wanting some time alone with her as he held her close. This was a lot for her to take in and he was glad that she was so willing and accepting to what he was wanting.
